Behind the Library of Human Imagination
February 6, 2012 - Re-airing on television last night was Jay Walker's TED talk on his private 'Library of Human Imagination'. Designed by Mark P. Finlay Architects, AIA, the three-floor engaging space was inspired by M.C. Escher, with glass-paneled bridges and connecting platforms. Stuffed with one-of-a-kind artifacts like Sputnik, ruby bound books, and the instruction manual for the Saturn V rocket, this library is full of items to stimulate the human mind.
